bbGetHeader() Function

Returns the entire email header block of the sMessageText parameter.

bbGetHeader (sMessageText, sReturn, lLength)

Parameters

sMessageText

Null terminated character array containing the email message that you need to retrieve the header block from.

sReturn [out]

Null terminated 4096 character array. Returns the contents of the header block.

lLength [out]

Returns a long value. Contains the length of the value returned in sReturn.


Syntax - (Visual Basic)

' ** Pad sValue out parameter with spaces.
sValue = String(4096, " ")

' ** Call Subroutine
Call bbGetHeader(sMessage, sValue, lLength)

' ** Set value
sHeader = Left(sValue, lLength)
